Social Event - 4th May
We are hosting a BBQ and pub crawl event taking place in the Foundry courtyard on the 4th of May.

Tickets are available from the offices at both accommodation sites and are a bargain price of £4.

Ticket price will include entrance, food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Feel free to invite your friends for a lovely summer party!

Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed golfer.

We were very pleased to recently be able to announce the winners of the Asha House Recycling Competition. This was won by Apt 40, who took away a big load of chocolate to thank them for their efforts. A big thank you also goes to everyone that took part and keep up the good work!

I’m glad that recycling was introduced at Asha house as there are many students here, and the amount of recyclable items that were thrown away in the black bin bags was very high. Come and visit the Housing Bazaar on the 18th Feb 2008

Current residents can attend the bazaar in the James France building at the Univeristy between 10 & 4pm.

- Thanks to all who attended the Welcome Party at the Union on Friday 12th Oct. Well done to Edward Salton who won the limbo competition.

- The Christmas party will be on Tuesday 4th December , venue to be confirmed. Keep a look out for posters around the site giving more details or see your site RC's.

- The Waterways & Asha football team has started training & team selection will be happening soon. The potential players look good & Sean (RC) is working on getting some games in the next few weeks. - After listening to customer feedback the laundry & office at Asha House have changed places!. The work is due to be complete by the end of November and we are sure you will like the improvements.

- As the buildings settle now we hope you are enjoying your stay. If you have any maintenance to report you can do so in various ways: through www.mainstaystudent.co.uk , e-mail to studentatwaterways@mainstaygroup.co.uk or studentatashahouse@mainstaygroup.co.uk or the old fashioned way - speak to us in the office during opening hours. We'll do our best to get things sorted as quickly as possible for you.

- If you would like to see a particular social event run have a chat with your site RC's & they'll explore the possibilities.

- Re-booking - we are opening for existing residents to re-book their rooms in advance of the rest of the student community. Housing List Day & the S.U Housing Bazaar are both on Monday 10th December so if you want to either keep your own room or move to another you may have your eye on let us know before the end of November.

- As the end of term is not far away have a great Christmas vacation
