Q. Is there any car parking?
A. Yes. We have 36 spaces in our secure car park for Resident use. To gain access you need to purchase a parking permit which costs £350 for 2009/2010 academic year
Q. What are the room sizes?
A. Some rooms do vary slightly however the standard size room dimensions are 2.4m by 5.5m
Q. What is the difference between the rooms?
A. The deluxe rooms are generally larger then standard rooms hence the price difference. The rooms itself is generally wider and has a bigger bathroom.
Q. Are there telephone provisions?
A. No you will have to use an IP Service such as SKPE.
Q. What additional facilities are there onsite?
A. We have a Gym on site that is free to all residents.
Q. Will I have to pay extra for the additional facilities
A. The gym is free to all residents.
Q. What fittings are included in the bedroom?
A. Each study bedroom will include :- long desk, swivel chair, 2 bookshelves (1 wall mounted). 1 draw unit attached to the desk, 1 bed-side draw unit and a wardrobe. The bed is double sized.
Q. What fittings are included in the rest of the flat?
A. A typical communal kitchen that is shared with no more than 6 bedrooms(including yours) will contain 6 easy chairs, coffee table, 6 dining chairs and 1 dining table. There is adequate storage to enable each person has 1 draw unit, 1 large cupboard and 1 overhead locker each to store food and supplies in. there is enough fridge freezer space for one shelf and one freezer drawer per customer
Q. Is there bicycle storage?
A. Yes. We have storage for bicycles on site
Q. Are there any recycling facilities near by?
A. Yes, Your nearest recycling points are listed on the Bradford Council website. There are plans to improve this provision by the council.
Q. What about Internet
A. A basic 128k broadband connection is provided free to your room. This connection can be upgraded.
