Q. What's included in the rent?
A. Your rent is all inclusive of utility bills (capped at £300 or £350 for Studios),
including electricity and water.

Q. Does the building have lifts?
A. Yes, there are two of them

Q. Is the accommodation aimed mainly at freshers?
A. No, it is open to all students.

Q. Is IQFive on campus?
A. Not quite. IQFive is situated in a central location right next to Fiveways train station.

Q. Are any of the bedrooms en-suite?
A. Yes, all of them.

Q. Can I share an apartment with friends?
A. Yes. We have apartments to accommodation different group sizes, ranging from four to five-bedroom apartments. Or we have studio apartments, which are ideal for individuals wanting their own space.

Q. What happens if there is a problem with the heating or other services?
A. We'll deal with it for you. Just contact the on-site accommodation team and a member of the on-site maintenance team will osrt it out as soon as possible.

Q. Is broadband access available?
A. Broadband Internet is available in all rooms.

Q. How is rent paid and how often?
A. We collect your rent by direct debit four times a year – on 1 August 2007, 1 October 2007, 10 January 2008 and 4 April 2008. This allows you to avoid paying one big lump sum and also coincides with your student loan payments.

Q. Do I need to pay a deposit?
A. Yes. We ask for a deposit of £250* to be paid when you book your accommodation. * The deposit is refundable, subject to a satisfactory inspection at the end of your tenancy.

Q. How do I book a room?
A. You can book on-line right away, just complete the online accommodation bookings form and our accommodation team will get right back to you with all the necessary information to help you secure your accommodation.

Q. Is there any car parking?
A. There is limited parking due to the City Centre location. Please contact the accommodation team for more information.

Q. What are the room sizes?
A. All rooms are a good size so no short straws! All the rooms are the same size, no matter where in the building, no matter what the floor.
The ensuite rooms are approx.15sqm.
The Small studios are approx 18.5sqm.
The Medium studios are approx 22sqm.
The large studios are approx 29.5 sqm

Q. What is the difference between £94 and £95 rooms?
A. The only difference being the view, the higher the level in the building the more spectacular the views across Birmingham are.

Q. What is the difference between the types of studios?
A. The only difference between the studios is the bigger the studio, the more space available to you. All the fixtures and fittings are the same throughout. Again there are price increases of £5 per week as you go up the building, again this is just because of the more spectacular views available from the upper floors.

Q. What fittings are included in the bedroom?
A. Each ensuite bedroom comes fully furnished with hotel style en suite facilities. Included in the room is a single bed, with underbed storage, a double wardrobe, large desk area, with drawer and shelving facilities. There is a full mirror in each of the rooms., and each room is double glazed and centrally heated.

Q. What fittings are included in the rest of the flat?
A. Then there is a communal intercom phone which links to the entrances, then in the kitchen/living areas, there is ample storage space, a standalone fridge freezer, a full oven and hob, a microwave, a leather corner unit sofa, a breakfast bar and stools, and a flat screen TV.

Q. What security provision is there?
A. 24 hour on site accommodation team
CCTV system
Electronic fob entry system
Spy hole for each flat and bedroom door, your own lockable bedroom
Intercom entry
Window locks, all windows have restricted opening for security and safety reasons.

Q. Is there bicycle storage?
A. There is a bike storage area, accessed from canal level, it will be fob accessed to ensure the highest levels of security.
