During the year you'll find all sorts of events taking place in Loughborough town centre including music, dance and comedy. Every November the annual street fair takes over the town centre in the run-up to Christmas.



Loughborough University is the country's premier university for sports development, research and education, and has an unparalleled record for sporting excellence. Some of the most celebrated names in sport – David Moorcroft, Paula Radcliffe, Steve Backley, and Bob Wilson, to name a few – have studied at Loughborough. So if being active is a key part to your day, then Loughborough is certainly the place to be.

Getting around
Living at The Foundry you’ll find most places are within easy walking distance. However, there are bus services throughout the town to a number of local and regional destinations. For those of you that fancy a trip more a field, then there are hourly train services to all major destinations like Nottingham, Leicester and London.
