..this is what our residents think of The Pavilions!
"I am a resident at The Pavilions Student Village, and have been for the past three years. I was initially attracted to The Pavilions, as it offers a higher standard of living than most of its Lincoln competitors to students. I particularly love having a double bed, leather sofa’s and a dishwasher (who said students have to live rough!) The Pavilions has a great community feel to it, and is improving all the time. The on-site bar means that you don’t have to venture far to get cheap drinks and live music. There are always events and parties worth going too, making The Pavilions experience all the more enjoyable. The large communal areas enable you and your flatmates to socialise in comfort, with room for off-site friends too. All in all, if you’re going to be a student in Lincoln, The Pavilions is the place to be!"
"Living at pavilions has been so great these last two years and I can’t wait for next year. Its unrivalled comfort is the key factor for me as I feel need to be comfy when I actually get down to doing some work but also comfy when lounging around feeling sorry for myself after a heavy session. Location is ideal set just off campus so me and the lads can play football whenever and being so close to the Mezz bar means that a pint is never too far away. Having said that with the football being shown live on Sky Sports in each apartment who would needs to even leave the house on a night-time!"

Football Tournament
Mezzino football league has been a massive success this year with 13 teams playing in the new venue of the University Astroturf pitch. It has been a long season, every Sunday come sun, wind and normally rain the teams having been battling for points, places and prizes at the end of year prize-giving.
With much more than just league positions up for grabs every game was vital. This year we have had a really high standard of football being played with most of the teams boasting either university football or footsal team players. We have had two teams vying for top position with AFC Mad Croc Orient just sneaking the league over Los Galacticos.
With a dream side being put together by the organisers everyone is in with a chance of being honoured at the end of season bash. Great news too is that just two bleary-eyed days after that there is going to be a one off all day tournament with the same teams invited to play to see who has the stamina and squad to be the best over one day. Hopefully it will be the Mezzino Marauders who are putting in a team for the first time.
But in the end as always it hasn’t been about the winning it’s been about everyone getting on with playing football and enjoying it. Hopefully next year we can have a few more teams and hopefully some more rivals for AFC Mad Croc Orient’s title.
